Dr Amanda Webb - Locality Clinical Lead (Swindon)
Amanda was appointed as the Locality Clinical Lead (Swindon) on 1 April 2020.
Amanda trained at both Cambridge and Oxford University, before qualifying as a GP in 2012 and joining Westrop Medical Practice in 2014. She has specialist clinical interests in paediatrics and women's health, and is involved in medical education, both as a GP trainer and teaching medical students. Amanda has a particular interest in GP retention and career development and founded the national Phoenix GP Programme.
Amanda was previously a member of the Governing Body of Swindon CCG as well as Clinical Director for the Brunel 1 Primary Care Network. She believes in a health and care system which empowers our population, mobilises our communities and addresses the causes of illness and social determinants of health. As Locality Clinical Lead, she aims to build on the partnership across health and care services to enable whole system working and truly integrated care.
